ANITRA
Anitra, an internationally acclaimed performer herself, is a resourceful and innovative choreographer and show director.
Able to work in many styles of dance from Gumboot to Ballet, Afro-fusion to Funk, Broadway, Tap and Hip-hop, Anitra has sculpted dancers in a myriad corporate events, theatre and television productions as well as advertisements. Allow her to bring the BOOM to any event and be assured of creative integrity and unlimited entertainment value!
Anitra has choreographed and directed many revue-style shows and also the musicals I love you, you’re perfect, now change, Assassins and Batboy as well as, more recently, various corporate events for leading clients. Her numerous corporate events have included interactive banking flashmobs and flashy luxury car launches.
Anitra continues to apply her theatrical knowledge to grow the entertainment industry of the future as she has been employed as lecturer by both Tshwane University of Technology and University of Pretoria (where she completed her Masters’ Degree in Drama with distinction) and is currently a lecturer at Oakfields College in the Faculty of Dance and Musical Theatre.
Whilst Anitra’s loves using her creative skills to find innovative ways to enrich any concept and add unlimited entertainment value, her resourceful administrative abilities ensure that each event stays within budget.
