Khanyisa Bunu made history in 2015 by being the first ever female to win an award at the Comics Choice Awards when she scooped the Audience Choice Award. She attributes her success to the fact that she is an all rounder because of her clean and brilliant material and can perform at any corporate events.
It was no surprise that Khanyisa Bunu ventured into comedy and she has always had a funny bone at school, among her friends as well as her family.She has performed around the world and wowed audience in places like New York, Nigeria, Botswana and Swaziland.
She has received rave reviews at various prestigious and international Comedy Festivals and was resident Radio Comedian on the Afternoon Drive. Her Film and Television work includes ‘So you think you are funny’ SABC 1 Reality show; Late Night With Kgomotso, Late Nite news with Loyiso Gola; Bantu Hour SABC 2 and Ses Top La Season 4 (SABC 1 sitcom)
